And the multi-path format of the drive-thru has been axed in favor of a single route. If you’ve read our initial story below, then you’ll want to note two logistical adjustments: Instead of March, Sugar Rush open on April 2 and run through May 2. It’s still largely the same idea-a route lined with whimsical, oversized candy displays, tunnels and domes in Woodland Hills-but you’ll now be tackling it distanced and on foot instead of on a set of wheels. The designers of the experience have this covered as well. One sure thing to expect, is the overwhelming desire to eat candy during the walk through as you see all these yummy displays. Experiential Supply is an award-winning company to which the Hollywood film industry turns when it comes to creating large-scale, immersive experiences for films such as IT: Chapter 2, Ready Player One, The LEGO Movie, Smallfoot, and more. Tremendously popular Hauntoween LA and WonderLAnd drive-throughs. This innovative event is made by Experiential Supply, the team behind the Masks are also required for guests entering this experience. All staff and performers are masked and gloved. The staff here thoroughly cleans all surfaces and areas for the duration of the event. You’ll see parade floats, whimsical sets, tunnels, domes, and enjoy frequent candy powered interaction. You can really appreciate the details of the displays, the vibrant colors and the enormous size of the sculptures as you’re walking right next to it.
